while studying discrete mathematics, i suddenly remembered how we use discrete probability in a game of poker. It was interesting because i can see how math is used in “real life”. However, the odds that those computations gave are quite low that using them would be pointless.

It is not to say that math is useless but is rather inefficient to use in the said situation.

sometimes we are forced to base our decisions on gambling instincts and poker faces.

There are times that logic is not on our side to guide us.
